Ravenstonedale

We drove to Ravenstonedale this afternoon, a little village in between Sedbergh & Kirkby Stephen.  There isn't a great deal there, a couple of pubs, a church and a play park for kids etc., but it's a lovely place.

After our obligatory stop on the play park Darwin and I went into the church.  It was open as expected and we could wander about freely.  We even went to the tower bit and I was tempted to go to the top.  There weren't any signs saying you couldn't but it did feel a bit wrong being there.  My judgement got the better of me and we withdrew before getting into trouble.  After we left the church the bells began to ring.  I'm pretty sure we would have both poo'ed if we had been in there at the time.
