Horns & Pods

A while ago I wrote a post about the Himalayan Balsam and the affect it had on Kerry during its seeding cycle.  In summary it freaked her out to a state that she thought the world would be over in a matter of weeks due to alien plants killing everyone with their exploding seeds.

Recently Pete has acquired a squeeze horn, a bit like the kind you would find on a vintage car, and he took Piggy to have a look at it.  It’s loud, very loud, and Pete gets enjoyment out of frightening folk.  Like Kerry was with the Balsam pods, Piggy was quite afraid but he couldn't leave it alone.  His facial expressions reminded me of the Balsam experience.
