Beaten to Death With A Sausage

Some people have funny ideas don't they?

So, consider this.  What is the largest animal you can beat to death with a sausage?

Obviously there have to be some rules, otherwise you could poison the sausage and kill the largest of all animals.  (I wonder if a Blue Whale would eat a sausage?)  (A Blue Whales throat is only a foot across so avoid giving it a jumbo sausage if you're planning on killing one!).

So,

1.  The sausage has to be bought from a standard supermarket, like Asda, Tesco or Lidl etc.
2.  You are allowed to freeze the sausage.
3.  Your sausage has to be used in a beating capacity only.  You are not allowed to poison the sausage or use it to choke the animal.
4.  You are not allowed to push nails or other stuff through the sausage to aid its damage capability.
5.  The animal has to be an adult.
6.  The test has to be carried out in an enclosed space large enough to contain you and the animal.
7.  Both you and the animal are able to move freely, neither of you are tethered.
