The Zip Wire
Pete and I started talking about making a zip wire quite some time ago but last Winter he spotted a winch and cable on Sale or Swap and we now had the essential gear to make it.
When we were kids zip wires (or Death Slides as they were called in our day) weren't a common addition to the kids playground, nowadays they're all over the shop. But they're a bit tame aren't they? Darwin now has his very own zip wire.
Pete has done all the work and it looks great. From making the clearing, to erecting a take off and landing platform and buying all the gear. It's fantastic.
Darwin is so pleased with it that he's made a video:
