Reception

I can’t remember starting school for the first time. I remember starting Junior school and being terrified because my family had moved from Preston to Leyland and I was starting a new school full of new people that I hadn’t met before. I think that’s why I have gotten so nervous in the past when we’ve put Darwin in new nurseries.

Anyway, this morning Darwin officially started Reception and he was very excited by it. He has to wear a uniform too. I’ve told him to look out for any kids that are feeling sad and to do his best to cheer them up.

And yes I am aware that the school logo looks like an IRA man abducting a kid.
