Fountains Abbey

We haven’t quite had our money back from the annual National Trust membership yet so we went to Fountains Abbey near Ripon. It must be the time for pheasants to get jiggy because there were loads of them on the way there and the male birds were brilliantly coloured like a rainbow with a hardon.

The abbey is quite spectacular and the grounds are lovely. We had a small picnic and 2 Hurricanes flew over, the sun was shining and we met a dog called Colin who was being walked by a small girl who must have been a third of its mass, if that.

Pig was knackered by the end of the day and fell asleep in his trike.
