Lyme Regis

Kerry has this fascination with fossils so where better in England to go to than the Jurassic coast near Lyme Regis? The weather was ideal for it, thick dark skies with the threat of severe monsoon like rains with winds to match! (It sounds sarcastic but indeed this is the ideal weather for fossil hunting!). I was a little sceptical about it all until I met a man who had a handful of fossils in his pocket, and who then coincidently found about 3 more fossils around my feet where I stood. From this point onwards the fossils were plentiful.
I was hoping to find the claw of a tyrannosaur clutching a golden egg, alas I didn't make the find but I did find a calcified ammonite!
