Model Trains

We went to Pecorama again.  Coincidentally this would be an apt name for the swannery but this is where the model trains and mega children play area is.  They have a new model train section which is quite something and I can see why some people are attracted to the model train hobby.  The attention to detail on some of these creations is fantastic, and whilst looking in the shop afterwards I realised some of the prices of these models are quite fantastical too.  There must be 10's of thousands of pounds in some of these set ups.

Piggy was in his element.  We then rode the big trains encompassing another one of his current favourite things, tunnels.

Afterwards we went into the play zone, loads of tubes and ropes and obstacles and slides for kids and sweaty me.  Last time he could hardly get about unassisted but this time he was scaling rope ladders and running around so fast I found it hard to keep up.

In the evening, even though I'm pretty sure we could have all gone to sleep there and then, we drove down to Charmouth and had a mooch on the beach.  Piggy learnt what an ammonite is and drew things in the sand, and then took to throwing the sand at me and in his hair.

What a lovely day.
