No Make Up Selfie
So currently the social networks are encouraging women to take selfies with no make up, an organically grown campaign to raise money for Cancer research.
"What's the big deal?", I thought. I see Kerry without make up all the time and she looks lovely, I don't think she wears a great deal of make up anyway. But when women post images of themselves on Facebook they're usually looking good and I was quite unaware how dependent on makeup some women actually are. I know it's for a good cause and that, and well done to everyone involved, but Jesus! I thought one woman I know was her Grandmother, and other images have genuinely frightened me.
