Preparing to go on holiday is a simple thing for me, as long as you have money, passport, clothes and camera and whatever tickets are necessary then I'm ready to go. Kerry doesn't think in the same way. Firstly the fence needed painting, plants need sowing in the garden and a big net to keep the cats out was required! This was part of the pre-packing preparation. Obviously then all the house needed cleaning, travel insurance needed checking, aftersun, 4 bikinis, something nice to wear whilst we're sat at the Captains table on the boat, a complete review of the checking in procedure at the airport... and on and on....
Whilst she busied about I went to the front garden again. I'm going to Egypt tomorrow.
