I haven't been to Worden Park in ages, and after the disappointment of Avenham Park the other year I was prepared to be let down dramatically. However, it was fantastic.
Sure it was May Day and the weather was lovely, but there wasn't anything in particular on at the park, yet the crowds were reminiscent of the old days when the festival or the fireworks were on.
The miniature railway has been extended massively and the crowds go mental for it, it's lovely. The gardens are booming with tulips and as always the daffodils are crackin.
It holds some special memories for me Worden Park and I'm so happy that it still looks lovely, if not lovelier.
