Standing on a Cat, Naked

We went up to Allen Bank again the other day. Darwin is very good with technology and will often have and iPad or an iPhone in his hand but it doesn’t feel that healthy does it? I wonder if that’s just an age think. I wonder if when footballs were first invented parents used to complain about their children spending too much time ‘on the football’.

We played in the toy room for a little time without any toy being powered by electric or any energy other than clockwork. He rode the rocking horse, learned how to spin a spinning top (which is remarkably hard if you haven't spun one for a while!) and dressed up as a bear, which was lovely.

Afterwards I made a painting and donated it to the National Trust.
