Blackpool Comes To Oldham
"Blackpool comes to Oldham", this is being advertised as an attraction! To me that's pretty much the same as "Kabul comes to Baghdad". And why fairs come to northern England in winter is beyond me.
On the way home I also stopped at the fair in Rossendale. It was raining hard, 2 degrees and a Thursday night. There was one person there and he was operating the only working ride. He couldn't see me but he was still bellowing down his tannoy ranting "shit".
