Puddletown
We didn’t venture far this Bank Holiday weekend, the weather
was rubbish and Piggy was still a bit explosive. Sure we could take plenty of spare clothes
but carrying around the soiled ones wouldn’t be desirable.
We did however have a trip out to Botany Bay and for the
first time I went in the Puddletown Pirates section. It’s good, I think. Piggy had to be confined to the toddlers
section which he thoroughly enjoyed. He’s
fearless and gets excited and it’s lovely to watch. The thing I don’t like is many of the parents
were sat looking like they were sorting out their next heroin deal and didn’t
care what their children were up to.
Consequently children over the permitted toddler age were often running
rampant around Darwin giving no consideration to whether they stamped on a
small child or not. I think Puddletown
needs a police force and entry to the toddler area should be strictly control
by a very violent pirate who isn’t afraid to eject/reject children over the age
of 4.
In the end no damage was done and everyone had a thoroughly
good time.
