Mouse Gets an Emotional Support Animal

Kerry obviously feels some kind of guilt only having one dog, and given how Mouse stomps about the house like an anxious mammoth every time she is isn’t there it only seemed appropriate that we get him an emotional support animal.

After scouring the website of the same place we got Mouse from she spotted ‘Meadow’. She looks a little like a springer spaniel albeit with a tiny head. So she did the deal and once again the Romanians bunged a shed load of dogs into their van and made the mammoth journey to deliver the dogs around the UK. (Actually, I’ve just been on Google maps to find it’s only about 1300 miles to the middle of Romania from the middle of Sedbergh, in my head I thought it was 3000+).

Meadow arrived looking very thin and frightened and when we let her into the house she went and cowered in the remotest place she could find in the utility room, but it didn’t take her too long to start sniffing about. Being a little younger than Mouse she’s also a little more playful and she’s more incentivised by food. It didn’t take the two dogs long to start playing with each other which is lovely.

We changed her name though after the first time we saw her get a little angry. The hairs on her back stood up like a hedgehog and her little head made her look like a Hyena, consequently we now call her Ena.
