We had another sit down Sunday with the Baddeleys but this time at Carlo Sartoris house. “Didn't he used to play for Manchester United & Italy?” I hear you ask, well yes he did, however this wasn't that Carlo Sartori, this was his nephew.
We chatted about Kerrys mums bush. She has a Brazilian at the moment, I imagine because the World Cup is currently being held in Brazil. When they held the competition in the USA she had a Hollywood. I imagine if the cup is ever held in Australia she is going to grow a massive bush and set fire to it.
We had a half attempt at playing the A-Z Animal game but it fizzled out quickly. On the way round I played my Aardwolf card, it’s one of those animals that is immediately met with suspicion but once confirmed sometimes can warrant an “Oooo” in the game. An aardwolf is a small, insectivorous mammal, native to East Africa and Southern Africa. Its name means "earth wolf" in the Afrikaans / Dutch language. And how do I know about it? Well in the olden days before the internet us kids used to read the dictionary, phone book and indexes of map books, aardwolf happens to be the 2nd animal in the dictionary!
We tried to turn Piggy into a porcupine by attaching pegs to him and we all had a lovely time.
