I love quarries. The quarry owners make a point of warning people that quarries aren't playgrounds, hmmm, I think they are and I like to ignore the warning signs.
I found a new quarry this week, the quarry where the flags on Trafalgar Square were extracted from. Kerry was with me and refused to enter it, kin do-gooder!
The signs warned not to climb, watch out for loose stone and thin ice, don't dig, watch out for quick sand, deep cold water and the quarry edge. If I was tasked with saving money I'd change the sign, using less text and getting the message across far more effectively.
