Nearly Threw a Stapler at a Crow
Further to the Retarded Pigeon post I can now report that
there were 2 eggs which produced 2 squabs (that’s the name for a baby pigeon!)
and they have already grown up and flown the nest. That was quick wasn’t it? The incubation time was 21 days and it only
took 3 weeks for the squabs to grow and leave the nest. Amazing!
There was only one scary moment when a crow came
sniffing. I am aware that magpies would
attempt to spoil a nest and therefore took it that a crow would too. As it was sat on a branch near the nest I
grabbed a stapler and was ready to quickly open the window and throw it at the
crow, fortunately there was no need.
