Origin of Species - First Edition

This Christmas Darwin’s main present was an Xbox One. He originally asked for a first edition On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection and a map of the structure of DNA but we told him to stop being a prick and got him the Xbox instead. (He actually asked for a banana!). Since then he’s been totally consumed by Roblox and Fortnite.

Kerry wanted to go easy on other presents to discourage the consumption of single use plastics but I couldn’t resist buying a cheap remote control plane. I would have loved one of these as a kid and considering the price it flies quite well. Darwin took a few flights to get it right but eventually kept it in the air for about 15 minutes. I also bought him an air horn to scare people to death. Kerry has since confiscated it.

When we were round at nanny’s there was a joke pen which electrocutes the user. Strangely Darwin quite likes getting mild electric shocks, I noticed this a few years ago when we both got electrocuted by a cattle fence and it made him laugh and wanting to do it again.
