Spring on Broadway

I'm don't mean to harp on about Spring again but for about 3 weeks of the year daffodils occupy the central reservation of Chadderton Broadway and it's a lovely thing.  So on the way back from football I stopped the car and took a few snaps.

I feel that the daffodil is such a disappointing flower because it has such a short lifespan, it's only plus point it has is that it's one of the first to show it''s head.
