Passover

I still haven’t heard back from the synagogue of Manchester so I decided to take a trip to the Jewish Museum in Manchester.  Firstly I checked the web site and it was announcing that it was “Open this Weekend”.  I turned up and it was closed!

It was Passover, a big event in the Jewish calendar.  I wondered if there was any correlation between Easter Sunday and Pass-over, and I don’t think there is.  Passover is all about the Jews celebrating the exodus from Egypt.  (I know how they feel, it’s an awful place!).

So I took the opportunity to take a few more snaps of Jews milling about, and today there was an abundance of them.
