We haven't really had a proper break this year, and with the Bunster being in the state she is in, and ballooning rapidly, we didn't really want to be attempting to climb the Eiger. Following on from our visit to Dorset earlier on in the year we booked the former residence of Prince Maurice of the Palatinate for a week in Lyme Regis (sounds a lot fancier than it is! Maurice actually used it about 400 years ago, it has been rebuilt several times and Prince Maurice was virtually a historical nobody. However it was still a lovely place to stay!), grabbed the fossil hammers and Kerrys dad, and headed down to Dorset for a week.
Kerry was looking forward to more fossil hunting, I don't mind fossil hunting but more so I was looking forward to doing nothing on the beach, either way I won. We had a few more things planned over the week but fossil hunting would take up most of the time. In between activities Pete and I would try and shoehorn some fishing in.
I've also not been doing as much Photography recently so I'll try and take a little time out for snapping, maybe trying a few mini projects.
