The Citizen M hotel is where we stayed in Amsterdam. At first you think "Wowww" and then when you get used to it you think "Huhhh!". Fortunately we were only there for one night and it remained a novelty. I'd class it as the poshest hostel I've ever stayed in (I don't think I've ever stayed in a hostel!) rather than describe it as a hotel. You shower and toilet in a tube that change colour and everything is controlled by a remote.
When I showered I pretended that I was from the future and teleported back to Earths past just like Arnie did in the first Terminator film, see below.
