Martin Mere - Duck Zoo?

Martin Mere is somewhere I've heard about for ages but have never been until yesterday.  I think I heard as a kid it was where King Arthur clod Excalibur and everyone I spoke to said it was ace.  And therefore I was expecting big things.  In the end it was more like a duck zoo, but it was still OK.
