Gorse Mill
Oldham and the surrounding areas currently have 31 standing monuments to the cotton industry in the form of large factories, and more than that have gone to ruin.
This is Gorse Mill. Once home to an Urmson & Thompson steam engine that powered the entire factory and American Air Force engines were also assembled here once. Nowadays it houses a lighting firm and the management don't like me and other folk driving across it's car parks.
