Div

I’ve used the word ‘Div’ for some time without knowing the etymology of it. Rightly or wrongly I’ve been calling it Darwin for a while and now he uses it. Apparently it’s prison slang for someone given the simplest of jobs of putting dividers into boxes. What do the clever ones get to do, nuclear research and brain surgery?

So I’m confused, is it very un-PC? Choosing to be a div in prison might be a choice and isn’t necessarily a measure of intelligence. Kerry tells me it isn’t right but I think it’s too late anyway.

Any road, whenever I point a camera at him Darwin always likes to act the div.
