Yard Poppies

Last year Kerry threw some giant poppy seeds in a corner of the yard that she had pilfered from somewhere. At first when I noticed them coming up I thought they were some sort of cabbage but now they are lovely. I’ve got a soft spot for a poppy.

I’m always a couple of months behind with this blog now so in the past few weeks now that the flowers have disappeared both Shnai and Darwin got the seeds out of the remaining pods and scattered them all over the yard. I’m looking forward to seeing a lot more next year.
