Kirkland and Monroe
Douglas Kirkland was 27 when he photographed Marilyn Monroe. As he began to photograph Marilyn instructed everyone to leave them alone and then she invited him to join her in bed. Like the professional he was he said "No ta love" and continued about his business. (allegedly!)
Anyway, the images he got were amazing, beautiful, playful and womanly. He published a book entitled "An evening with Marilyn".
