Arnold and Monroe

Eve Arnold got many lovely images of Marilyn, but then again I kind of think that anyone with a camera in the company of her would have got lovely images too.  Arnold also did a 'Marilyn under the white sheets' shoot but they were very different to Kirkland's shots.  Marilyn had her eyes closed for the majority of Arnold's white sheet shots making me think that she was just relaxing and having a good old stretch, with Kirkland the eyes were looking into the camera showing desire.

Most of her other shots of Marilyn were mostly observational or simply lasses having a laugh.
