To be honest, up until a couple of years ago I didn't know where the BBC was in Manchester. I knew it was there because Mark and Lard used to blurt on about it during their Radio 1 presenting (back when Radio 1 was slightly more bearable), but I had never walked by it up until last month.
All the greats were filmed here too, Cheggers Plays Pop, Going for Gold and Street Doctor and the building was a pretty miserable looking one. It has been demolished now after BBC's evacuation to Salford.
I spotted 2 scenes that I quite liked.
