The other week I was allowed access to the attic space in Islington Mill, Salford. It's a pretty tatty space thankfully occupied by a group of artists and in the upper floor Susan Macmurry has installed her seminal work, "Stratum".
To the ill-educated it's a shit load of white duck feathers clod all over the place and leveled out nicely, to the DIY enthusiast it's a clever way to insulate your loft if you've got a massive amount of white ducks handy (if for instance you were a Chinese Bernard Matthews!), and I just thought it looked lovely (and both of the above opinions too!).
