One of the main things that attracted me to photography and in particular SLR photography was the ability to focus. My first SLR was an old Russian camera, a Zenith E and I loved it. The lens had a locking ring on it that enabled you to limit the aperture and because I didn't know what I was doing initially I ended up taking all of my images for the first year using an aperture of F2, and I loved it.

So this week I bought a wide aperture lens, F1.4 and I'm loving it even more.
O, and a dog pissed in my mouth today!
