The Gower Peninsula

I read on the internet that a place on the gower peninsula, Oxwich, was voted the best beach in the UK. I'm from the north west and all the beaches round here are usually heavily populated, often smelling not the best* and an amusment arcade is only a stones throw away. Here I found myself in the middle of nowhere.

* I once knew a girl. At certain times of the month I could smell her (you know what I mean!!!) and it smelled like the beach at St Annes!

At first I wasn't too impressed, I think I was expecting palm trees and busty women on roller skates, but very shortly it grew on me. Maybe it was the fantastic sunset.
