Appleby Horse Fair 2019

I went to the Horse Fair again. I think they should make me an honorary gypsy, as long as I didn’t have to undertake one of those fights where you strip naked, chain yourself to another gypsy and fight with knives.

They do get a bad press, it wouldn’t be allowed with other ethnic groups.

Anyway, I enjoy it, it’s life and people in its rawness. I spent more time with the old boys this year at the trading end, there are less topless men and a lot more money.
