The temperature gauge on my dashboard read -4° and that made my mind up to whether I was going to try and capture the factory in the valley, was I prepared to be exposed on a bare hillside in the dark with a wind chill factor of probably double the dashboard reading taking long exposures? Was I bollocks.
Instead I photographed Gorse Factory in the dark and then broke into a building site to photograph a newly built yet unused retail centre. As I was snooping around a security van turned up so I took to ducking down and hiding behind some pallets. I'm 40 years old, what would I say if I was caught? I giggled to myself.
