Lost and Forgotten

On my way passed St Michaels on the Hill today a gravestone caught my eye, primarily because it looked new compared to the others but then the inscription pulled a heart-string.
Hubert died less than 4 months before the end of World War 1, his wife died nearly 54 years later.
The church c/w graveyard looks like it's privately owned now and being renovated to be luxury accommodation. In England graveyards are on a 100 year lease, after this time they can be cleared. I spent a bit of time wandering about the forgotten headstones.
